Driver dispatch SMS opt-in
Webjoy operates this website for TRiPPiN Rides. Booking alert texts are sent only to employee drivers, never to guests as marketing.
How drivers opt in
Opt-in is verbal, at hire or when a driver is added to dispatch. TRiPPiN Rides tells the employee that their work cell number will receive SMS with new website bookings (pickup, drop-off, guest name, guest phone, date/time, rider count) so they can take the ride.
By providing that work number for dispatch, the driver agrees to receive those operational texts.
